We have designed and produced a photoetched sheet at the classic 1:48 scale that includes the various components of the chain pumps, horseshoe and dovetail plates, gunport lid hinges, cabin door hinges and lantern expansions.

The secret to creating a beautiful ship's lantern is forming the central portion with it's sloping faces. Using the expanded from the photoetched sheet solves this problem.  A tutorial for making the complete lantern  may be accessed here: Lantern tutorial
